Summary: great gaming software
Comment: well the x box 360 elite is a great console it is work paying the extra cash for the 120 gb hard
drive plenty of memory to download movie games and videos of xbox live. You can also make and
customise your own avatars way better than Nintendo's miis on the wii. The HD gaming is real fun
either your playing assassins creed or a friendly game of Fifa you will love the graphics in it. You
can also store all your music on it just put in a cd and it can rip it t your music data storage and
forget all that red ring nonsense you would have to play every day for about 8 hours and just send
it to Microsoft and they will fix it for free. So the best console on the market has go to be the
elite if had it for a month and it still amazes me.

Summary: Jasper elite
Comment: By now the new Xbox 360 you buy will be built around a chipset known as "Jasper."
/>Jasper 360s feature a redesigned motherboard with 65-nanometer graphics and processing chips. The
cooler running, less power-hungry sum-of-parts is meant to make the infamous Red Ring of Dead a
thing of the past.

Unlike the Xbox 360 Arcade it replaces, the Jasper version doesn't
come with a 256 MB memory card. That's because Microsoft soldered the memory onto the motherboard,
making the card unnecessary for saving settings and game progress.

The new Jasper 360's
150-watt power supply is lighter and absent of the visible fan found on older, higher power
versions, and maybe it's a placebo effect, but to my ears my new Jasper-equipped Xbox 360 runs
quieter, both with and without a disc spinning inside.

Summary: Pretty much the same
Xbox 360 as before on the outside, albeit with quieter, more energy efficient components running the
show on the inside.

Summary: worth getting
Comment: i got the xbox 360 when it first came out and i had no trouble with it untill a few months ago when
it got the red ring of death thingy but it lasted a good 4 years, so i decided to get the elite as
it had 100gb more space on it. Altogether apart from the extra space there isnt really much else
better about it. It still doesn't have built in wireless and although it is a bit quieter as soon as
you put a game in it starts to sound like a hoover. but this can be over looked because there are
some really good games which arent that expensive out on the xbox which is not on the ps3 like
Fable, Halo and gears of war and when you start to play them you forget about the nosie the console
is making anyway. it is easy to set up and the desktop looks good and is easy to use. the graphics
on most games are really good as long as you have the HD cable thing so make sure you get that as
its worth paying a bit more. the best thing is the xbox live which you will get 1 month free when
you first set it up.

overall even thought it has its cons i would still recomend this
console over any others because of its price, way it looks and the good games which are out on it.

Summary: 360 Elite or PS3?
Comment: Seems to be a popular question... Its a simple answer. The PS3 is the better console.
/>It is of a better build quality and is more compatible with uPnP media servers, at least it is for
me. However, the 360 does come with a headset, which is good if you ignore the fact you need to pay
a subscription to play games online.

The PS3 offers more, HD upscaling on DVD's, a
Blu-Ray player, HDMI as standard ( I think the new PS3 also offers HDMI Connect.). The menu is nicer
than the 360 and if you really want to, you can install a different OS. It also comes with WIFI,
which is soo handy. The controllers are more comfortable and easier to set up (you just connect the
controller to the console via USB to set it up as opposed to pressing buttons all over the place
with the 360.).

Given that we probably wont see many exclusive releases now for either
console, you can take your pick. If you do go for the 360, then there are some excellent games for
it, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War etc. It would just be a bit of a waste given that the PS3 offers more.

Summary: A great gaming system with a great price.
Comment: Xbox 360 Elite, the all black, all lean gaming machine that delivers a punch.

The Xbox
360 system has been plagued with problems since its first release, and left many gamers severely
pissed off with Microsoft, but the issues have been adressed and the Xbox is now what it should of
been when it was released, but it still lacks a few features.

I have been a PC gamer
since forever and the only reason I bought the Xbox was to play exclusives, and just give it a go.
Hey, everybody says Xbox rocks so im gonna see if it's true or not. My expectations have been
fuffiled!
I really fell in love with achievements and I'm now the so called "achievement
whore".

Now lets cut the B.S. and get to the point, the controller is great, and Live
is very good, the quality is far superior than the older Xbox versions and it is stylish. The price
is perfect and was the reason I didn't go for the PS3. IMO the Gamerscore system is better that the
Trophy system from the PS3 and the graphics in some games have a slight edge over its rival (if you
dont believe me then do some research). Online play is great and I'm really happy with my new
purchase. The hard drive capacity is great and more than enough, I saw no reason in buying the
super-elite, it is slightly overpriced and IMO the extra space is unnecessary! The black finish is
great and stylish, and the wireless controller's latency is nonexistent. A very cool selection of
exclusives is also great, even though I do prefer the PS3 selection. It comes with all the kit you
need, includes a hdmi cable, composite cable, scart converter, etc.

Now the bad
parts:
It LACKS BADLY a Wi-fi receiver, something that PS3 has as default and is annoying
having to take my router all the way across the living room to get online!
Noise is slightly
high pitched when playing games, but is quite low so with sound you won't notice it!
PS3 has
better exclusive games IMO.
1 remote only, but that can be fixed by buying one or purchasing
the slightly overpriced super-elite.

That's about it, it is very good and definately
has more pro's than con's.

Good gaming!
