i bought this item with the idea of switching my sky hd. and although i thought it would work fine, i too am suufering from the picture distortion. i find i have to turn my sky off and back on to clear it.

seems like the tv picture goes green..i only paid £10 for it so not to bad but it reaaly doesnt work with sky.

Bought to allow extra HDMI input(s) for ageing Sony 40" LCD TV. Good that it can be powered from USB socket on Sky HD box. Faultless preformance with no noticeable loss of quality (1080i). Cannot ask for much more for the price. 1 star lost for the flimsy appearance. Will advise of any future problems.

Good but not great

Lets give you a brief set up outline,

Panasonic Viera P42G10 (only 3 HDMI)
XBOX 360 via HDMI
PS3 via HDMI
Sky+HD via HDMI
Samsung HT-X720GT DVD via HDMI

As you can see I was one HDMI port short so this little black box seemed ideal to allow me to connect it all up and avoid any un-needed cable swapping.

The only way I have so far found to connect all four devices and have them all work correctly is to connect my SKY+HD to TV-HDMI1, my 360 to TV-HDMI2 and the Joytech Tri-Link to TV-HDMI3 I then have the PS3 connected to port 1 and the DVD to port 3 and the usb power plugged into the sky box. Each device will then work faultlessly but only when ALL other HDMI devices connected to the TV are switched off, if any other HDMI device is switched on I receive feedback/interference in the form of flickering.

In summary the Joytech HDMI Tri-link works it's just a bit of a chore getting it to do so.

Had this for over a year now, no problems, works fine for both PS3 and SKY HD. Powered via usb on Sky box again no problems.

Works a Treat with my panasonic plasma ps3 and skyhd!

One thing the remote is rubbish quality.......
but i programmed my logitech universal remote to do the job!

Worth the money!
