The Future of Gaming?
Customer Rating:

Okay, my title may sound cheesy, but it's true. The nintendo Wii looks very fashionable, and it doesn't take quite so much room seeing as it stands vertically. It's great that you're able to take part more in the game by moving around your remote and selecting stuff, although your remote must be in range of the sensor bar and held steadily and straight out in front of you; otherwise the cursor flicks around the screen crazily.
I did find it very disappointing that I could not access the internet on my Wii, just because we don't have a compatible router, but I'm not particularly bothered.
Most people buy this game for party purposes, or for all the family to interact and play with. But, I usually play alone, and the Wii is in my bedroom and it's still really good fun, so long as you get games that aren't really designed to be better on multiplayer mode, in which case it can get quite boring quickly.
I enjoy making my own Miis, too. Although the personalisation options are quite limited, you can make the Mii look quite a bit like you, or the character your trying to create, apart from the clothes. So far, I've created two different versions of myself, my brother, and Itachi and Lee (from the anime Naruto).
Wii Sports (that comes with the console) is actually quite boring when you're playing alone. It's better to play with a group of people, but even then the selection of games are limited. I do find boxing and tennis enjoyable when I'm in the mood, though.
Another thing to bring to attention with Club Nintendo. I have never had anything made by Nintendo before, so I am quite new to Club Nintendo, but I feel it is a fantastic way to encourage people to buy more Nintendo-related items while everyone gets something out of it. Simply register, put in any codes from certain games or your console and get stars, which can get you free items when you order them from the Stars Catalogue.
And searching for the perfect game is quite simple too. You can choose either to browse through the whole lot, narrow down your search, or use the "Gift finder" for yourself or someone special by "Telling Mario".
I'd highly recommend this console. Whether you're intending to connect to the internet or not, whether you're going to play with others or not. This game has a wide variety of games, most of which involve you more deeply in gameplay.
Nintendo - unique!

I have always owned a Nintendo and even though Nintendo wasn't successful with its GameCube - they pulled it off with this fabulous new console - Wii.
The first time I used this system (when it first came out) with Wii sports it was so fun I went to buy extra Wii motes and Wii Nunchucks to invite my friends over.
It's fun for the older generation as well as the younger generation too. As soon as I got my console and showed my friends - eventually they were desperate to get theirs too.
Now we all play online with games such as Mario Kart.
The build quality of the wii is fantastic and its a very nice size to fit anywhere - like a little book. The design is very futuristic and looks great.
The playability is great with the right games and the Wii Sports supplied with the Wii really shows its potential - great game to start with even if you cant afford other titles yet. I love the way you can personalise your character with Mii's. I wish that the Wii Sports could be played online as it would be great fun - unfortunately you can't - but still is not disappointing at all.
I love the wifi system built in - with Nintendo you just connect to your Wifi hub and away you go - no need for subscription fees and registration - Wish Sony and XBOX would do the same.
This system is also brilliant to keep fit.
Highly recommended
