DOes it ever work?

I will say, when the Xbox works, it is excellent.
However, in the three years of ownership, My 4th console now has the three red rings. Therefore it will have to be sent off and I will have to be sent a Fifth console. On average, during my ownership, the consoles fail every 7-8 months.
On the whole, a great console when it works, but I cannot reccomend as they are too unreliable.
Get your act together Microsoft.

Customer Rating: Why are you wasting your money on xbox live? No console has the best online AS IT ALL RELYS ON YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION. Money for xbox live just goes to improve RROD. This is the trueth. If you are clever, get a PS3, free internet and blu-ray.

(2)-An amazing online community which is highly addictive and fun
(3)-Loads of downloadble content such as;movies, game trailers, game demos, arcade games, full classic xbox games, gamer pics and themes to customize your dashboard and game content to extend thenlife of all your games.
(4)-You can watch movies and put your music on so you can play gears of war while listening to your faveourite album.
(5)-MSN messenger can be acessed quickly and easily anytime.
(6)-You can even sync your xbox to your of and watch movies on your of, on your xbox and browse pictures and music.
However there are a couple of down sides to this product;---
Downsides
(1)-Its quiet noisey but you soon become unaware of it once you start playing.
(2)-Red Ring of Death can kill your xbox if your unlucky but it's all down to chance, mine lasted for four years and since I bought an extended warranty for very little I got a quick replacement for game that very same day!
(3)-no blu-ray
(4)-xbox live costs (not to much mind you) and I would pay more if it cost it.
On the whole if you are wondering which to buy out of the ps3 and xbox 360 I would definetly go for the 360, by a mile. But if you buy the ps3 you will not be dissapointed.
