How do they do it for the price?

I kept seeing this type of chip being advertised for Pentax *ist DSLRs
The problem was that the handbook said NO - only SD cards
I bought this as the cheapest trial I could find. Sure enough it didn't work!!

However, a further look at the Pentax site showed that if I upgraded the camera 'firmware' from version 1.00 on both cameras it would work.
I did
It works!
Now get I 360 RAW pics, or, at least, 999 highest quality jpegs (The camera can'r display the 1,320 I think it should be showing - I get 660 on a 2Gb - on the one chip.
That should almost be enough (1 in each of 2 cameras) to cover an airshow like Duxford's Flying Legends!!!!

A perfect item which was delivered quickly and worked perfectly no problem at all.

I have to admit that due to the price paid for this item I did have some small reservations as to the quality as in my camera handbook it did warn that not all cards will work.
On receipt, I fixed it in my Nikon D5000 and completed my tests. The card worked with perfection and there was no extra noise or distortion on the picture.

I would rate this item as first class and value for money.

I gave this card to my father for his new camcorder, and we used it to film my nieces wedding. It was fantastic and the card held the ceremony as well as the night reception. For the money this card is excellent value.
