firstly i like the way it looks.
this test is going to be split by categories:
music: very high quality sound didn't believe my eyes it was so good and easy to put on
photos: easy to put on and good quality
videos: ennoyed at first cause it didn't support the format of the video but then i found any video converter to convert the videos in the right format and it works a treat
here are the things you need to do 128kbps acc sound 30 fps 320 by 240 for the dimensions

overall rating 10/10

I have had this player for 2 and a bit years, the Sony quality is starting to show, even after all the heavy use the sound and video quality is as excellent as when I bought it. The headphones come with rubber earplugs that you can change so that they are comfortable, also they don't fall out too easily making this product great, along with its size, for use in the gym. There are an excellent range of settings for any occasion (i.e. you can use it on surround sound) and even use a small custom mixer which is very useful. The only thing I would say is ALWAYS use the latest version of wmp as the older versions are harder to use and don't run as fast, and you can't sync videos as easily.
All in all a great buy.

I was very pleased with my Sony MP3 on the music side but had problems loading video. I also found the Sonic Stage software not very user-friendly. Sound is excellent although it is worth upgrading the earphones. I have since upgraded to a iPod Touch and I'm afraid the Sony is left standing in comparison. I can't praise the iPod enough it's fantastic - Sorry Sony.

Bought this to replace my iPod about 6 months ago and its a nice little mp3. I am quite clumsy and regularly drop it (on concrete) but it is so far still working and there isn't much visible damage either! It's well built. Seems pretty straightforward to use, and the battery lasts a long time, so long it hasn't run out on me yet (unlike my old nano) so I can't tell you how long. Would recommend one of these over an iPod or other mp3 player, despite being a Creative fan.

plain and simple, this is the best mp3 player. Small, easy to use, easy to put music onto and of course sounds great with the superb headphones supplied.
I've had mine just over a year, use it everyday. It still sounds great and the headphones are only just faultering. although that's a problem with the cable to jack connection not the actual earpieces.
Buy this if you want ease and great sound
