i bought this leather case because i own a sony mp4,the logic in my case is i own a good piece of kit why not look after it,as other reviewers have already stated it is a bit pricy but when all is said and done i have no regrets whatever,the old saying you get what you pay for definitley applies here,it looks the part and is totally functional and it keeps your mp in good nick.

For those that have not previously had one of these cases they might be overjoyed - ignorance is bliss. Afterall, and to be fare, the case iteself is very high quality and well designed. I would agree it is a snug fit, but once on there is not need to take it off. So why my low rating? I purchased one initially earlier this year and it was worthy of a 5 star plus rating. It must have attractive as it was stolen! Wanting to replace with the same quality I ordered another one, however, when it arrived I was severely disappointed - indeed, I sent it right back. They have changed the design. My old one had an excellent, albeit slightly bulky, practical peg like clip. It was great, I could hook it to my clothes and have a really good workout in the gym without worrying about whether my MP3 would fall off or move. However, when the new one arrive it had a very flimsy D ring for attaching to...... well to what? Not my gym attire that's for sure. If you want to hook your MP3 to a belt and don't mind it swinging around then go ahead and purchase this item. If, like me, you want a cover that you can secure to almost anything and be sure it stays then then avoid this item!!!!

I found that this leather case fits my Sony NWZ818 perfectly. I bought them both at the same time and once the player is in the case it never needs to come out again! All buttons and jacks are accessable, including the 'hold' button. I agree that it probably is a bit overpriced but then it's a decent soft leather case providing full protection (with built in screen protector) for the player. Recommended every time.
