Enduring quality
Comment:
These headphones have the sort of sound which encourages you to genuinely listen to the the music -
the more you listen the more you seem to hear. I think this is because they are to a large extent
"transparent" e.g. what you put in comes out unadulterated. So providing your source is of
reasonable quality you can really enjoy the listening and will not suffer the listening fatigue
associated with more "colourful" products. These headphones are also well constructed and fold
neatly into the durable transit box supplied. Unreservedly recommended especially at this price.

One word: WOW!
Comment:
WOW! Based on all the other reviews I decided to buy myself a pair of the Sennheiser PX10
Headphones. I have forever struggled with ear bud style headphones, and the headphones I was
currently using (back of the neck style) were making my ears hurt after reasonably shortish periods
of use.
However...I have just plugged the PX10 into my computer and was stunned by the
clarity of sound that came flooding out. These headphones are so light weight you can bearly feel
you are wearing them and have a good amount of adjustment to them.
As previous users said, you
feel you have to listen to your whole music collection all over again - I think I will too (I can
hear backing sounds I never knew were there!)!
As a gadget freak I also am impressed by the
way these headphones fold into a durable little box which you can wrap the wire around. Neat eh?
/>Buy a pair of these at this price and you won't be disappointed!

Apparatus for injecting pure music into your cerebral cortex
Comment:
These headphones are well thought out and ideal for the traveller. No more tangled leads - the
phones fold neatly into a rugged storage case which has an inbuilt spindle for you to wind the cord
around - a simple but fab idea. The cord is thin but kevlar-reinforced, so it should stand up to
accidental pulling. The phones are very light indeed, and - more importantly - very comfortable. I
can wear these for hours without any pinna-ache, a common feature of back-band and ear bud phones
for me.
By far the most impressive feature of the phones is the audio quality. I am
having to listen again to everything in my record collection through them. The sound is so
heart-achingly pure, with rich bass and crisp treble. Any phones that can stand up to the bass runs
of the Bad Plus version of "Iron Man" on full blast with absolutely no distortion whatsoever are
truly legendary. After listening to 15 seconds of music on the phones, two of my workmates have
already bought a pair each.
With the mix of fabulous sound and the lightness, it truly
feels as if there is a band playing in your head. Highly recommended.

A must buy
Comment:
If you, like me, want to acheive the best out of your mp3 player then your ears deserve to be
treated to these. They are very lightweight so you can wear them for hours on end without fatigue or
painfull sorespots. The bass is tight and poised with the treble finding instruments you havent even
heard before in your tunes. They come with a very handy case the size of a sunglasse case which is
ideal if you travel. The only downside is that they are open backed, so you will aggravate
passengers happening to listen in.
If you travel on public transport i recommend the PX200s
as they are closed back, but slightly lack in the treble and are not as comfortable. Choose which
design suits you. If you want to get rid of that whining child altogether, without turning your
tunes up to that ear-melting, batter draining level go for the shure E2c, if you dont mind wearing
earplugs, just peservere in finding the right size earbuds that are provided, and you'll find the
best sound only betterd by there pricier siblings.
These are the most cost effective way to
upgrade your mp3 or equivalent player. Try them out

We now own two pairs of these stunning headphones
Comment:
My son bought a pair of these headphones a year ago and I've made great use of them ever since,
commuting to London. When he asked for them back and I reverted to using my old Sony headset with
my Sony NWA 1000, I was very, very disappointed. I immediately ordered another set of PX100's.
These headphones are simply brilliant - supremely comfortable, easy to fit in a
briefcase (with or without their supplied case) and produce great sound across the range. The sound
is detailed, neutral and engaging, with good levels of clean, sharp bass.
Some have
commented on the sound leakage. Well, these are an open-backed design, so what would you expect?
In practice, I've never been asked to turn them down on public transport, although I
do use them considerately. I can hear traffic when walking across London (which I consider a
positive safety benefit), but it's not a mjor problem. On the Tube, frankly the background noise is
so deafening for much of the time that I doubt any headphones are truly effective. I tend to switch
them off for that part of the journey.
Overall, these are great headphones at a very
reasonable price and will transform your listening experience over the sets supplied with MP3
players.
